Guesthouses IPB Landhuis located at Jalan Tanjung No. 4 Campus Bogor Agricultural Dramaga, carve the history of Bogor Agricultural University Campus in Dramaga. Guesthouses Landhuis IPB was originally the residence of a wealthy landowner first tea and coffee planters named Gerrit Van Motman.

After the departure of the Indonesian Motman family rubber plantations with an area of 250 hectares in the area Dramaga taken over by the President, then President Sukarno gave credence to the Faculty of Agriculture, University of Indonesia to manage it.

In 1960 became coed dorm IPB, in 1980 to the dean’s office FATEMETA or what is now referred Fateta (Faculty of Agricultural Technology), in 1990 to a new campus construction project office Darmaga, and then in 1996 became the official residence of the rector.
